Who is accountable for the content

Content published on geckostudio.es is produced under the editorial control of an identifiable person: editorial responsibility for this site lies with Miguel Ángel Jiménez, content lead at Gecko Studio, who answers for what is published here.

That is not a formality: it means that if something published here is wrong, the responsibility belongs to an identifiable person, not to a tool. We use AI the way you would use a word processor or a spreadsheet — it speeds the work up, it does not sign it.

What we use AI for

Documentation and analysis. Processing ranking, crawl and analytics data to find patterns that would take days by hand.
Writing support. Structuring drafts, suggesting angles and reviewing copy. Whatever gets published is reviewed and approved by a person with expertise in the subject.
Images. A good share of the illustrations and cover images on this site are AI-generated. The ones that could be mistaken for a photograph are labelled next to the image itself.

AI-generated images

A significant share of the images on this site — article illustrations, diagrams and blog covers — has been generated with artificial intelligence. We declare it here in general terms for the whole site.

On top of that, on the blog we say so next to the image itself, with the text «Image generated with artificial intelligence». You do not have to go looking for it: it sits where the image is shown. We apply it by default to blog images, including the ones that are plainly illustrations: we would rather flag one image too many than miss one. Screenshots, client website mock-ups, logos and real photographs of our team are left out.

We are still refining that list of exceptions across the blog archive. If you spot an image labelled wrongly — AI-generated and unmarked, or marked without being so — tell us and we will fix it.

What we do not do

There is no assistant or chatbot on this site. If you write to us through the form or on WhatsApp, a person answers.
We do not publish unverified data. Figures, names, prices and claims about clients are checked against their source before publication.
We do not use AI to make decisions about people. Not to screen candidates, not to evaluate our own team. It is a rule written into our internal AI policy.

The legal framework

This disclosure responds to Article 50 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (the European Artificial Intelligence Act), whose transparency obligations apply from 2 August 2026.

Gecko Studio is a deployer of AI systems: we use them, we do not build them. We maintain an internal AI literacy policy in line with Article 4 of the same Regulation, and we review both documents every six months.
