Jet ski rental services in Ibiza – Jet Ski Beach

Servicios de alquiler de motos de agua en Ibiza – Jet Ski Beach

Multilingual web redesign for a jet ski rental company in Ibiza

Ibiza Jet Ski Beach is a company dedicated to jet ski rental and guided tours in the Mediterranean. At Gecko Studio we designed a dynamic, visual and fully optimised website for an international tourist audience looking for water experiences on the island of Ibiza.

One of the project's biggest challenges was adapting the site to different European markets while keeping a coherent brand identity and looking after both brand image and user experience. To do that, we implemented a multi-domain, multi-language structure, where each country has its own optimised version:

Each of these domains includes:

  • Translations with cultural adaptation for the target audience.

  • Content written naturally in each market's language.

  • Its own well-structured version for each language.

Development was done in WordPress, with an intuitive admin panel that allows the team to manage bookings, update prices, modify routes and upload images without any technical knowledge.

We also implemented key improvements in:

  • Load speed (WebP, lazy loading, optimised hosting)

  • Responsive design adapted to mobiles and tablets

  • Individual web setup per domain for each market

Do you have a tourism business that needs to attract customers from different countries?
At Gecko Studio we help you design a website that doesn't just look good — it works commercially and ranks internationally.

More on this topic

Water sports rental sells something unusual: an activity that the customer decides on the same day, from the beach, on a phone, with about 30% battery. Everything about the site has to survive that.

It also sells something with rules, and the rules are where bookings are lost. The questions that decide whether someone books or walks away are legal and practical, and answering them plainly is worth more than any amount of drone footage:

  • Do I need a licence? This is the single biggest unknown, it varies by engine power, and most people genuinely do not know the answer.
  • How old do I have to be, and can my kids come? Whether a family of four can go out together decides the whole outing.
  • What if the wind picks up? Cancellation and refund policy for weather is not small print in this business. It is the reason people hesitate to prepay.
  • How long is the actual time on the water? A "one hour" experience that includes briefing and kit is a different product, and saying so up front prevents the review that says otherwise.

The same-day, on-the-beach reality has design consequences that are easy to get wrong. The phone number needs to be tappable without scrolling. Today's availability matters more than a calendar three months out. And the page has to be readable in bright sunlight on a screen at half brightness, which rules out a lot of low-contrast design that looks excellent on a desktop in an office.

There is a language dimension as well. A beach in Ibiza in August is a genuinely multilingual place, and the safety and licence information is exactly the content that must not be left to an automatic translation — it is the part where being misunderstood has consequences beyond a lost booking.
