Website Redesign: Before and After on Real Projects

We rebuild websites that have become slow, dated, or that get visits but bring no enquiries. Below is how some of our delivered projects turned out, and a way to tell us how yours stands today. SEO and development sit in the same team, so the redesign is planned with search in mind from the start.

Signs your website has fallen behind

If two or more of these sound familiar, what you have is not a cosmetic problem:

  • It is slow. Especially on mobile. People leave before it loads, and you lose visits you already had.
  • It looks dated. The design does not convey the trust your business deserves and costs you against competitors.
  • It does not convert. It gets visits, but few turn into enquiries, bookings or sales.
  • It is not built for Google. It ranks below what it could and does not appear for the searches that matter.

Redesigns we have delivered

These are real client projects: same brand, rebuilt website. We do not name clients here, so each is described by sector.

Jet-ski excursion operator

Starting point: a site that neither reflected the experience nor guided visitors towards booking. What changed: an editorial hero that conveys the experience instead of plain text; a structure organised by departure point; online booking brought to the front, with a clear catalogue of excursions.

Made-to-measure lighting manufacturer

Starting point: a dated shop that did not match the level of the product. What changed: a premium design in line with the product; new navigation with a mega menu for a wide catalogue; redesigned product pages and projects section.

Classic and sports car parts shop

Starting point: a huge catalogue that was hard to navigate. What changed: the catalogue reorganised into hubs by car model; a premium design suited to classic and sports cars; clearer, more structured parts search.

More than a change of look

Four things were worked on in those projects that screenshots do not show:

  • SEO and development, the same team. The sites were built by the same team that handles those clients' search visibility. URL architecture was decided with SEO in mind, not after the design was done.
  • Redirects before anything moves. In every migration, old URLs were mapped one by one to the new ones and indexing was checked afterwards. This is where a redesign loses traffic, and it was the part that took longest.
  • Page weight watched during the build, not at the end. Images, fonts and scripts were handled while building, with Core Web Vitals measured in the field.
  • Mobile first, not a shrunken version. Most traffic on these projects was mobile, so layouts were solved there first and desktop came afterwards.

The five stages of those projects

  1. Analysis. We looked at the existing site, its rankings and competitors, to decide what to keep and what to redo.
  2. Design. A visual proposal for the sector and the specific business, not a template.
  3. Development. Clean, maintainable build with content prepared for search engines.
  4. Migration. URL-by-URL redirects and indexing control during the switch.
  5. After launch. Measuring real-world performance and adjusting based on the data.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a redesign cost?

It depends on scope: number of pages, whether it is a corporate site or an online store, languages and level of customisation. The price of a specific project is discussed directly with you. Tell us the budget range you have in mind and your current URL, and we can see whether it fits before anyone spends time.

Can a redesign cost me the traffic I already have?

That is the real risk of any migration, and it usually comes from changing URLs without redirecting them. If your site already gets traffic from Google, say so in your message: it changes how the work is planned.

What happens when I send my details?

A member of the team that builds the websites reads it and writes to you to discuss it. Scope, schedule and conditions of the project are set in that conversation.

Do you only work on Ibiza websites?

No. Our office is in Ibiza, but web projects are done for clients across Spain and remotely for companies elsewhere, in English if you prefer.
